Crucially, stretch film packaging evenly distributes stress on the packaged items, minimizing the overall footprint. This is particularly useful in the tobacco and textile industries. The film's superior wrapping force and retractability ensure compact packaging, maintaining adhesion across a wide temperature range from cold to hot. Stretch film utilizes the compressibility of certain products (such as cotton, wool, and knitwear) by first applying pressure to the product, reducing its volume. This then pushes the product out and simultaneously stretches the film around it, securing it tightly. Heat sealing and cutting techniques are used to secure the film.
